printer for printing Magic the Gathering proxies, and it is the perfect printer
for the job. Setting it up was actually kind of fun with the ink bottles. Way
better than cartridges where you can’t actually see if you’re getting ripped
off or not. It’s nice to be able to visually see the ink levels instead of
relying on the printer’s gauge to be accurate. We use sticker sheets to print
the proxies, and the printer handles the paper type perfectly. No smudging, no
blurriness, it’s perfect!

rating? Let's say a 4.5 solid. The unboxing and setting it up were fairly easy.
I love the ink tanks and how they work. Linking to my Samsung Galaxy tablet and
phone took a few tries but that is okay. The print quality and speed are on par
with most price-point printers I have had. The features you get for the money
are good. The bottom output tray seems a bit flimsy as one of my complaints.
The other is I wish the scanner lid was on a friction hinge. If you don't open
it completely, it will slam down. I hope the longevity is equally as good.
Would I buy again? Right now, yes.

Comment: I don’t find it too
loud like some of the other reviews. Set up was a little difficult with the
app; I ended up just setting it up on the printer screen. Must download drivers
to scan to the computer, but it was very easy. Print quality is good. No
complaints.

Comment: Phone set up doesn’t
work; you have to use the disc on your PC. Other than that, easy installation
and good printing quality. So far very good for the price. I recommend it.
Update after 2 months and just a few times used, it stopped printing. I bought
it for $250, and now it’s $335. I’m gonna return it and buy another model.

Comment: Purchased this Epson
ET-4800 with Great enthusiasm and excitement, but setup was more complicated
than other Epson Printers I have owned. The printer could not find my internet
despite using a T-Mobile Gateway. After frustrating calls with Epson Tech Support,
I received a replacement, but it still couldn't connect. Now I am stuck with an
expensive Printer, past the return date. Avoid this Epson ET-4800 printer
unless you just want to buy an Expensive Paperweight. Very Disappointed in
Epson!

Comment: This is my second
Epson Ecotank, and just like the first, I am thoroughly impressed. Yes, you can
see a difference in the colors, but the difference isn't anything to worry
about. Where you lose print quality, you gain it in other areas, like the cost
of ink refills. We are talking super cheap to refill this printer if you print
a bunch. I use it at my desk at work, and it is very conservative on how much
ink it burns through. It easily connects to all my devices and hasn't had any
connectivity issues. It is a little noisy, though, haha!

Comment: I have had several
different all-in-one printers before, and This is hands down the best I have
had. No more spending hundreds for ink cartridges a year. No more freaking out
trying to find the correct cartridges last minute. It saves a fortune on ink.
The tanks are huge; the printer prints crisp and clean every time. The fax is a
blessing as well as the scanner. Throw those cartridges and ibuprofen away and
get this printer; you will not be disappointed!!! It pays for itself in a year.

Comment: The HP I bought a
couple of years back was non-stop buggy, but this Epson has been flawless from
the start and was easy to set up. Very happy. Used to be a HUGE HP fan but now
it's Epson for me.
